"Solatorobo first saw release late 2010 in Japan. Developed by CyberConnect2, the game is an action RPG with a world full of anthropomorphic characters. It is a spiritual successor to Tail Concerto on PS1 and also features a DSi enhanced cartridge. These features include the ability to take photos for use inside the game. CyberConnect2 also put out quests that players could download for their game."
More than a decade past its releaes, the makers of Tail Concerto have finally announced the game's spiritual successor. A trailer for Solatorobo was released at the Tokyo Game Show much to the delight of both the fans and TK-Nation. (At least two of us are fans!)
Following the launch of a countdown site a week ago, .hack and Naruto: Narutimate Hero developer CyberConnect2's Nintendo DS project, which was teased three years ago, is finally unveiled in this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu. The game? Solarobo - Sore kara coda he, an apparent spiritual successor to the developer's PlayStation 1 title Tail Concerto. Solarobo is set for release in Japan later this year.
