Reports show that producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Gigi Pritzker is optioning for a Space Invaders movie and is looking for writers. At least this one will make more sense than that Angry Birds movie.

With every developer all trying to re-invent the wheel, one has to ask, is it all worth it in the end. Do we end up with basically the same game, but covered in a different jacket, or do we really end up with new innovative ideas and gameplay.
