A new evolution-type animal has been born called the Machinatons in Spore. Machinima.com explores the realms of these species and gives you the whole run-down on them, noting that they have the ability to fly.

Following the announcement of a Macintosh release of Spore, EA and Apple have unveiled Spore for the iPhone platform. A short demonstration of what the final product could look like was shown at yesterday's iPhone Software Roadmap Event in Cupertino, California.
Spore is set to be released this September via the iPhone App Store. Pricing details have yet to be revealed.
