It is very difficult to just pick 10 and everyone has their own tastes and may not agree with the list, but openly debate the top 10 console RPG's of all time! What games were missed?
The NPD Group before the weekend released the top twenty software and top ten software by platform lists for the January 2009 sales numbers, showing the top rankings in software sales for the month. The top ten rankings for accessory sales are also available.
Numbers are inserted where known.

Star Ocean: Second Evolution"
Turns out Star Ocean: Second Evolution is coming out in PAL territories a couple weeks before its North American counterpart -- February 13.
Some new screens have arrived as well -- check 'em out.
"Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces that Star Ocean: Second Evolution will be released across Europe and all PAL territories on 13th February 2009, exclusively on the PlayStation Portable."

In a press release today, Square Enix announced two new games that were added to their North American 1st Quarter 2009 lineup. PSP owners hankering to quell their Star Ocean fix: some screenshots have arrived to tide you over until early next year when Second Evolution is released.
With E3 just around the Corner, beginning on the 15th of July, company line-ups are being announced left, right and center. Today was Square Enix' turn, with their full line-up detailed below.
Oh! ... And Fabula Nova Crystallis isn't attending.
In fact, the only Final Fantasy game that is attending is Final Fantasy IV, which was released in Japan nearly a year ago and is scheduled for a NA and PAL release later this year.

Square Enix has launched the official website for Star Ocean: Second Evolution, the PSP remake for the PSX hit Star Ocean: The Second Story.
The official website currently has sections for New Elements, World, Characters, System, and Spec. It showcases the new art style for the remake, and the remake features updated graphics, animations and voice acting. Flash is required for the official site.

Japanese magazine Famitsu claims Square Enix will announce a new Star Ocean title in the upcoming Square Enix Party 2007. The game will be revealed in the first day of the event, May 12, at around 11:00 AM. That's when Square Enix is holding their "Star Ocean Special Stage".
Because no further details have been revealed, we dont know where this title will end up; will this be Square Enix's first anticipated Xbox360 title, or will it be released for the PlayStation 3 like the titles before...
