"As a longtime fan-favorite, Street Fighter’s original token female Chun-Li has been beating up beefy Russian wrestlers and sumo wrestlers since the days of Vanilla Ice. While this lady and her thunder thighs will be making an appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, these cosplays are the ones that steal the show."
Attending MegaCon this past year for all three days, my small crew and myself managed to capture possibly every (non anime) cosplayer at the event. Of course for Gaming news, I'm linking you to the gaming cosplayers, but I suggest using this link as more pictures (and video) will be added. Enjoy!
For some reason, everybody loves zombies, and that includes artist Manuel "Hell Factory" Moura, who created these Street Fighter IV zombified portraits. It's quite good stuff, though perhaps they could do with a bit more deformity.
PC gamers should note a Sagat zombie mod is currently available here.
Go Fanboy has released their Cosplay Babe of the Week featuring the popular Crimson Viper from the Street Fighter franchise. They've posted twenty-seven images of various cosplayers dressed up as Viper. Also there's a mini-bio for the character of Crimson Viper for those unfamiliar with the fighting character.
"In the world of video game vixens, the ladies of Street Fighter are among some of the toughest and sexiest. But it was not always this way. In 1987, the original Street Fighter made its debut in arcades around the world without any female characters. It wasn’t until 1991, with the release of Street Fighter II, that the first female character was introduced: the sexy Chun-Li. Today there are over 30 female characters in the Street Fighter franchise and thousands of enthusiasts who dress like t..."
"After much demand, we've finally wrangled up a gallery of the popular Cammy for this week's Cosplay Babe of the Week. Cammy is one of the most popular characters in the Street Fighter franchise. She originally appeared in Super Street Fighter II:The New Challengers, which was released in arcades in 1993."
Capcom has released some concept sketches for Street Fighter IV; if you like getting early looks at how your favourite titles were created, these are for you.
"After the recent confirmation that Resident Evil 5, Bionic Commando and Street Fighter IV will be released for PC, beginning this July, Capcom have upped-the-ante by releasing the European Box Art for Street Fighter IV’s PC release."
So I attend a day of the FX Show in Orlando FL representing Binge Gamer, on a mission to get geeks in costumes. I love this stuff. I must say, I think MegaCon was overall more impressive, but the Deadpool made up for this. Go to source to see pictures.
Japanese site IT Media has taken a look at the evolution of Chun Li's face, from 1991's Street Fighter II to 2009's Street Fighter IV to the upcoming Street Fighterp movie...
"Leading up to the game's release, Capcom has been unveiling screenshots, artwork and video clips of some of the fighters featured in SFIV. Today, we bring you British fighter, Cammy. Sporting her butt-cheek exposed leotard, kenpo fighting gloves and army boots, gamers can fill up their eyes with brand new screenshots and exclusive artwork of this European fighter."
Not impressed by the LittleBigPlanet DLC so far ? Well this is sure to turn some heads. Like LittleBigPlanet? Like Street Fighter IV? What's not to like?!

"Hi all - it's been awhile since I've posted...my apologies for that. We've been cranking away on SFIV marketing in preparation for the big launch. One of those items is the package front artwork. Here's a little teaser...
Click on the above image to visit StreetFighter.com to see the full image (as well as see the European version of the pack front - they are actually different)."
Until more official word comes out, it seems Akuma has been spotted in Street Fighter 4, and check out what his character would look like in the new SF4.
They have kept the old tradition of leaving Akuma evil looking and demonic. He looks pretty evil from the picture, doesn't he?
