With Super Dodgeball Brawlers slated to come out this Spring for the DS, IGN got their hands on the US version of the game from publisher Aksys Games.

There are some improvements made in the US version over the original Japanese version. Most notably, the gameplay has been sped up a bit, with the game not as sluggish as the original. Timing becomes a little bit easier. Items also have been rebalanced.

Japan's caught Pokemon fever once again with the release of the newest Pokemon Ranger game, as shown by the Simple 2000 Software chart, which includes sales from March 17 to 23. Also on this list are some new releases and older favorites, such as Wii Sports, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.

Another relatively new developer has been set to work; currently Aksys and publisher Atlus are planning on releasing an update to the cult hit Super Dodgeball this spring. The game is going to be pretty heavily updated though, playing on a lot of RPG elements and featuring lots of tweaks and improvements.
