Mario looks strong enough to take out those feeble mushroom creature thingies and those flying turtles. But I bet even Mario would think twice after their upgrade to these creatures. Check out Mario's enemies drawn by Mike Puncekar to double size its evil side!

I remember when I loved playing those Space shooting games and the classical Mario. Some of us usually forget these things by now but let's bring back those old fashioned characters in this Top 10 list. Check them out.

"Since the beginning, seeing our favorite video game characters and their worlds on the big screen has always been an intriguing prospect. Similarly, interacting with our favorite big screen actors and villains via a video game has been equally as novel. However, it seems that whoever attempts to satisfy the desire for games to appear as movies or movies to appear as games generally seems to muck it up and churn out something just short of a fresh turd on a hot day."

Sure, you can put a price on these prizes but expect to pay a pretty penny for them on your favorite auction Website of choice. Not only do they look amazing, the waves of nostalgia here are so high that anyone that has ever played any classic title (like, say, a Super Mario game), will instantly recognize their character in sewn form."

The Brothers Mario makes a return in their sequel to the previous Brothers Mario Trailer. The video depicts the Mario story in a Grand Theft Auto fashion in such a suspenseful way, but leaves only one bad side; it makes us want to play it so bad..... and we can't.

The people at Nintendo Papercraft transformed some of the biggest characters of the Nintendo world into stylized paper creations. I bet they got the inspiration from playing a game of Paper Mario. Eh? Eh?

"When considering your favorite games, it’s all too easy to ignore the people behind them in favor of a title’s own merits. But video games are the culmination of years of work by dozens and hundreds of people. It’s rare that a single person will be credited with the creation or popularization of an entire genre or franchise, but when it does happen, those names tend to stick with us. We pay attention to what they’re doing, and their projects generate more hype than they generally know what to..."

Several movies play at film festivals. Most of the major festivals show little bumpers before each screening as a way to 'cleanse the pallet'. The Mario-shaped hole emerged today when Nintendo released its 3DS gaming launch line-up for the U.S. Scheduled for launch day on March 27, there was Pilotwings: Resort, a flying game that doesn’t star Mario. There was Steel Diver, a game about sub..."

"This one we love particularly, not only because I Fight Dragons is a catchy-ass band, but because the song itself is a wonderful tribute to the legendary Zelda theme. And the weak attempt at humor is noted."

"VirtualNES (vNES for short) cooked up something for nostalgic gamers longing for the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System with their Open Emulation Project. Through the hard work of coder Jamie Sanders, VirtualNES is different from other emulation sites in that all of the games are legal. How did he accomplish this? All of the games on the site belong to him in cartridge form, allowing him to do whatever he wants with them. While creating an emulator in Flash for free seems like he is br..."

"I’m going to let some of you who don’t struggle with the concept of aging, and therefor your own mortality, sit down and take a deep breath- today, the Mario series is 25 years old. This probably means that a great deal of you are at least 25 years old, some even older! It is hard not to begin staring down the barrel of fate when you consider that such a huge part of many of our childhoods officially happened a quarter century ago. "The latest video game inspired art series will focus on how a MMO might appear if it were set inside of the Mushroom Kingdom. In this case, we're just going to use World of Warcraft as a base for class types (afterall - if you understand what an MMO is then you're, most likely familiar with WoW).

"5. Vending Machine Trapper - BioShock 2

This one barely made the list for two reasons - it was obviously a significant part of the game and BioShock 2 didn’t host the most popular multiplayer experience. However, nothing was more frustrating than running up to a vending machine to refill on Eve or Ammo only to be greeted by a laughing clown and a bomb in the family jewels. You could freeze the traps but almost never thought to do so. Yes, there was a big blinking red light but it was hard ..."

"Hands down, these are the two most perfect water worlds ever featured in a game. They have everything: lots of areas to explore (both above and under water), hard-to-find coins and stars, and some interesting objects to climb and maneuver around. The music is also worth noting – it’s so deep and memorable that you’d swear it came from Final Fantasy."

"Although not many have been blessed with the same experiences with gaming as I have, I do feel that it is probably an experience that many gamers at one point or another have gone through at least once in their lives. Back in the late 80's and early 90's, who could forget timeless classics like Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Castlevania IV and so many more? For most of us, they were more than just games, they were adventures; an escape from the realities of the ever changing world around us. With..."

"Both Sony and Microsoft could learn a little something from Nintendo and how they handle their major franchises and mascots. Microsoft has milked the Halo franchise to the point that the original developer can’t stand the idea of making another one. Sony on the other hand has pushed the God of War franchise a bit too much (six releases, with a seventh coming in Ghost of Sparta in under five years), but hasn’t sacrificed quality for quantity as fans of the series and critics alike both rave ab..."

"In the UK, our friends at LOVEFiLM had wanted to poll their customers and users to what the best video game to movie adaptions were in preparation for this summer's blockbuster Prince of Persia starring Jake Gyllenhaal. So out of all the movies, which adaption topped the list? Silent Hill!?!?"

"In today's shooter-filled market, we spend a lot of time spraying bullets and looking down scopes. But every modern shooter gives us some kind of blunt weapon or knife for up-close encounters. In real life, if a badguy charged at you with a knife, you'd probably still shoot him. But video games make the melee button so satisfying, as you watch an opponent crumple to the ground, stumble backwards, or see the "Beat-Down" medal flash on screen. Melee weapons add a visceral side to our shooters a..."

"1. I come from a long line of plumbers, all the way back to my great grandmother Mariette.

2. People seem to really love my adventures; I’ve been featured in over 200 of them, and they’ve sold over 210 million copies.

3. Everyone thinks Luigi is jealous of all my fame and glory, but they don’t know the real reason why Luigi doesn’t have so many adventures: laziness.

4. Speaking of Luigi, you might be wondering why we he and I always wear the same clothes. Our mother hated doing the l..."

"Video game fans have a lot of hobbies outside of gaming itself. But more often than not it all ends up going full circle and coming back to the wonderful world of gaming. "The gaming industry has changed radically since Pong and Pac-Man were causing traffic jams at your local arcade. Most of the changes are for the good, some of them aren’t. It’s weird because we, as a nation, are no longer as innocent as we once were yet things that were commonplace back in the day are completely offensive to us. Can you imagine a big budget Hollywood “family” flick featuring underage drinking (The Goonies, Ferris Beuller’s Day Off, basically any Molly Ringwald movie)? Yet..."

"Deep in the basement of an ancient house in Sonobe (tucked in the fields of Kyoto, Japan), an amazing discovery has been made: real 1up Mushrooms. We know this sounds unbelievable, and we laughed when we were contacted by an exporter about them two months ago. But then we were sent a sample, and that's when our lives changed forever.

The instructions are pretty simple. All you do is add potting soil to the green sewer-pipe-shaped flower pot, and push the spores deep into it. Soak the soil ..."
