"Editor’s Note: As with all our Steal It For 360 reviews (which can be found HERE), this one looks at an exclusive game not available to Xbox owners to find out if it would have been desirable enough a game to wish it had been. In this case, would it have been a game Xbox owners would have enjoyed on Kinect? Yes we know that Mario is a Nintendo license and it would never happen…but that’s the point of wishing.
This is it. The fate of a console all comes down to this.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 not only continues the incredible game play of the original, but it also manages to trump it, adding new elements and refining old annoyances. The game sets a high bar for the current generation of platformers.
SideQuesting reviews Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Nintendo Wii.
"Since the inception of Mario’s first foray into 3-D, every generation of Nintendo’s consoles has had its "one true Mario game." The N64 had Super Mario 64. Our forlorn little purple box had the equally disheartening and ironically titled Mario Sunshine. And, for three years, the Wii had Super Mario Galaxy."
"Ever since Nintendo took Mario into the world of 3D with Super Mario 64, fans have been clamouring for a true sequel to the truly magnificent experience, and looked to be getting what they asked for with talk of a Super Mario 64-2 being in development. The ‘Home of Mario’ attemp..."
Dave Stewart of Spawn Kill reviews Super Mario Galaxy 2, a game so good that it manages to overshadow its predecessor. It comes bearing many similarities, but make no mistake, this game is every bit as deep and charming as the first.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the sequel to 2007's Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii. Mario Galaxy 2 comes to the Wii and expands on what made the first game so great, adding a variety of gameplay elements, featuring some of the best visuals on the Wii, and giving longtime fans a plot that they've come to expect from the series. How does Super Mario Galaxy 2 stack up to the rest of the games in the series?
"Innovation can only happen once, or so the story goes. “Sequels are never as good as the original,” they say. Yet we buy them up anyway. To gamers, sequels provide more of what we love – to publishers, it’s an opportunity to cash in. It’s a win-win for everyone (sort of), and it’s been going on since the beginning of the industry."
DEFCON:AWESOME reviews Super Mario Galaxy 2. Unlike a number of other reviewers, Matty is not entirely satisfied with the latest installment in Nintendo's marquee franchise. Pretty awesome game by his standards. But a perfect 10? Please, sucka. You must be outta your mind.
