The sequel to one of the best titles on the Wii had been confirmed to be in development by Nintendo at the publisher's E3 2009 Media Briefing. Super Mario Galaxy 2 will have Mario returning to explore the far reaches of the galaxy once again, in all new planets and levels to explore. The game will release in 2010.
