"Sometimes, you find yourself in a loving relationship with a partner who may not exactly share your passion for gaming. We’ve all been there. Instead of breaking up, why not try introducing them to a game or two that would be uniquely suited to their tastes and their skill levels so that you can play together?"

Despite some shovelware, the Wii is home to countless amazing exclusive titles. Such titles deserve follow-ups, yet not all of them have received an additional entry in their respective franchise. Here are five Wii games that could really use the sequel treatment.

Nintendo is known for some of the best video game franchises in the history of the industry. This past decade saw the debut of many great new franchises from them.

"The spookiest holiday of all is upon us, so today I would like to talk about the scariest, the most vile monster in all horrordom.
We’re not talking Freddy, Jason, Leatherface or any other demi-human serial killer. We’re talking about clowns a.k.a harbingers of small cars, seltzer water, custard pies, and unwanted hijinx. While I do not suffer from coulrophobia (fear of clowns) I do have a general distrust for them for some reason. I think it all stems from my early self watching the made f..."

"Although often out shined by its younger brother, Mario Galaxy, Mario’s first adventure on the Wii is still one of the best games the system has to offer, and one of my all-time favorite games. While not as graphically amazing or innovative as Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario (SPM) stands out due to its great, entertaining story and enjoyable gameplay."

Time after time again we look at video games shows/conventions to get a glimpse on what Nintendo will be releasing in their line-up each year, but they never seem to announce their next big IP, instead we're getting rehashes of Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Bros. Here's the games that should already get their entries on Nintendo's most popular console.

Tarrassio of curiousonion.com has blogged about the comfort of the different controllers we've come to know over time. So what is comfy and what isn't? He's given his favourites, share yours!

Stuck for buying a game this Christmas Wii owners? Be stuck no more! There's a great variety of games out there just waiting to be bought and played. The Christmas list is separated into four categories "bargains for the cheap, essentials to prevent embarrassment, socializers to bring everyone together and epics to log the hours". What will you buy this Christmas?

IGN members Matt Casamassina, Mark Bozon and Lucas Thomas have compiled a list of the twenty Nintendo Wii games that every Wii gamer should own.

It's well structured listing the name, publisher, develop, whether it's Wii exclusive, an overview, a profile picture and a video.

The first game on the list is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and the last is Excite Truck.

Most of the list is a listing of the most popular games around, however, some are quite surprising.

"Hello/Hallo/Hola/Bonjour/Ciao fellow Europeans! Good news if, like your correspondent, you dwell in gaming's forgotten region - Nintendo Europe has finally pulled its finger out and published a Q3 release schedule that features concrete dates for the likes of Super Paper Mario, Big Brain Academy, Resident Evil Wii Edition, and Trauma Center on the Wii."

I think selling 70,000 copies in just one day is pretty good for a game that we have been waiting for so long. I guess in the end having it on the Wii instead of the Gamecube is better.

A video from gametrailers about Super paper Mario which gets into detail about the story and character development

"With the weekend upon us, I am sure a lot of you are playing Super Paper Mario. While the game might not be the most challenging, you might hit a few snags along the way. We’ve provided you with a bunch of links to guides, but MyCheats (1up) has a nice, free, big guide for you to check out. If you are going with one guide, I would say this is the best choice."

There have beens tons of Super Paper Mario reviews giving it fantastic ratings. This video gives it a 7/10, and pretty much makes fun of the game. Overall, it's a funny video, and it only takes up a minute of your time.

"Nintendo argues that some people hooked by the Wii’s ultra-simple tennis and bowling games will lose their sense of intimidation about video games and gravitate toward games like “Super Paper Mario.'’ That’s ultra-wishful thinking. It’s never going to happen in any significant numbers.

What may happen, to concede a different point to Nintendo, is that
some lapsed gamers may pick up where they left off years ago, attracted by the originality of the Wii’s controls. They indeed might be “..."

"While Mario's proper 3D Wii adventure is still a ways off, Nintendo and developer Intelligent Systems have cooked up an engaging adventure to tide the plumber's fans over--Super Paper Mario. Although originally slated to be a GameCube release, Super Paper Mario has been shifted to the Wii to good effect. The unique game is a hybrid of platforming and role-playing that feels both new and familiar at the same time. The game has many of the aesthetics of the previous Paper Mario games and featur..."

"I feel bad. Yesterday I posted an article about how the nice people at Circuit City would give the unhappy customers who did not receive Paper Mario on opening day a giftcard of $20 if they did not have it. Because of my tiny, little, Asian beady eyes, I did not see how fine the print really was. Aaron emailed us to tell his story:

I get to Circuit City and stand in the customer service line. I see they'd erected a little sign reading Super Paper Mario sold out. I'm bummed that they do..."
