Three big releases are set to finally grace the Virtual Console. Nintendo have announced that Super Mario Kart will be available for download this Monday, allowing fans to re-experience the game that started off the series. Nintendo have also stated that Super Smash Bros. and Pilotwings will finally be released sometime this "holiday season." So make sure you've got some money saved up.

Coming this Friday to the European Virtual Console is a well-loved classic: the original Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64. The original eight of Mario, Link, Samus, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Fox, Yoshi, and Kirby get ready to duke it out across the game's nine stages.

Other games hitting Nintendo's European downloadable services this week are Cocoto Platform Jumper for WiiWare, and Asphalt 4: Elite Racing and Sudoku 150! For Challengers for DSiWare.
