Namco Bandai has just announced that Tales of Graces F will be released in North America this year. Where is the Wii version? Does Namco Bandai have any plans to localize the original version of the game for Wii RPG fans?

XSEED’s Tom Lipschultz made several more comments about the possibility of his company localizing the Japan-only “Tales of” games in North America.

Revealed in this week's Famitsu, Namco Bandai has shown that the company will be dipping into other franchises for their Wii RPG Tales of Graces, with two new costumes announced as paid downloadable content.

For the game's three female playable characters Sophie, Cheria, and Pascal, costumes from Namco's idol series Idolmaster will be available. Additionally for Sophie, a costume of popular vocaloid Hatsune Miku will also be available.

It was already announced that Tales of Graces would be receiving downloadable items and Tales of Vesperia costumes. Product Manager, Shinichiro Okamoto, has stated that DLC will also feature challenge battles where you fight tougher enemies to progress through ranks. He stated that Namco Bandai will release the DLC in Japan free of charge.

"Namco Bandai is officially rolling out their downloadable content plan for Tales of Graces and the first digital download will be a set of Tales of Vesperia outfits.

Pre-order Tales of Graces and you get a code to access three costumes. Asbel gets Yuri’s outfit, Sophie turns into pirate girl Patty, and Sheria dresses like Rita.

For comparison’s sake here are the same characters in their original outfits. Gotta love Asbel’s disco suit!"

Scans of what could be a promotional plan for Namco Bandai's Wii RPG Tales of Graces show that the title will getting downloadable content, of both the free and paid (with Wii Points) variety. Aside from previously-unveiled preorder DLC costumes, the exact contents of the DLC is unknown. Also included in the promotional plan is, like the promotion for Tales of Hearts, curry available for purchase named after its in-game counterpart.

Not content to be left out of the bundle party, Namco Bandai has announced a finalized release date for their upcoming Wii RPG Tales of Graces, which will hit Japanese store shelves on December 10th, and will retail for 7329 yen.

Also unveiled is a hardware bundle, the Tales of Graces Special Pack, in which the game, the white-colored Wii console, and a white Classic Controller PRO will be available for 27,800 yen. Namco Bandai has not released an image of the packaging yet.

In the first public day of this year's Tokyo Game Show, Namco Bandai held a stage event for their two main Tales titles for this year: Tales of Graces for the Wii, and Tales of Vesperia for the PlayStation 3.

Rpgmonkey's Tales news blog has come across scans from Jump magazine with new information on Namco Bandai's three upcoming Tales of titles, Tales of Graces for the Wii, Tales of Versus for the PSP, and Tales of Vesperia for the PS3.

Namco Bandai has provided some more news on the trio of Tales games that are being released.

Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 now has a Japanese release date of September 17. PS3 will be having some additions not featured in the 360 version. However, it will set Japanese gamers back 7,800 yen ($80).
