Spencer of siliconera.com has blogged about the Nintendo DS game Tales of Hearts in disappointment. This is in due to the severe lack of use in terms of one of the major factors that makes the DS so appealing, the touch screen.

It's said the team working on it at one stage were chucking around several ideas to do with the touch screen. It seems, they've all been chucked out of the window.

A disappointment?

Famitsu has some new screenshots and new characters that were revealed last week for Namco Bandai's upcoming Nintendo DS RPG, Tales of Hearts. The two new characters are Beryl Benito, a self-proclaimed genius painter with a height complex, and Kunzite, a mechanical guardian who has operated for over 2000 years. There is also concept art for two Soma (special equipment to enter a certain type of dungeon - Spir Mazes): Shing's Asteria, and Kohak's Elrond.

With news thats Tales of Hearts will come in two versions, CG and Anime, Namco have release two new trailers, one for each version, so that fans can decide for themselves which version is for them. Have you decided yet ?

One of the latest Tales games to come from Namco Bandai, Tales of Hearts now has a confirmed release date in Japan, along with pricing info, more screenshots, and info on Preorder bonuses by way of Amazon Japan. Originally announced for Winter 2008, Tales of Hearts will now be releasing in Japan on December 11, 2008, and both versions (animated and CG) will retail for 6650 yen. V-Jump magazine has unveiled two new characters that will be in the eleventh games in the Tales of Hearts series for the Nintendo DS. The name of the woman is Ines Lorenz, and the man is named Hisui Hearts, who is speculated to be Kohak's brother.
