Raptr, the leading social network for gamers, has released a new Raptr Report focusing on EA's blockbuster social game, The Sims Social. This report looks at EA's potential to dominate the social gaming space, how it captured more than 66 million players, and what EA learned from the king of social gaming, Zynga.

According to the LinkedIn profile of a former developer, Sega pulled the plug earlier this year on Cipher Complex, an espionage-themed modern-day action game originally announced in 2006. And though neither Sega nor Edge of Reality confirmed that situation, the studio remains at work on a number of high-profile projects for Electronic Arts.

Will Wright is a legend in the gaming industry and you're now able to send in your questions to him! In case you don't know who he is, he is the co-founder of Maxis and created the game almost all of us know, SimCity.

The first details of The Sims 3 have been revealed. Introducing a free roaming world where you can go to work, communicate with neighbours (Sims don't talk English) along the way and pump some iron in the gym. This is one of the main new aspects of the game and should be interesting to dive in and check out. More new features are an inventory system and also clearly stated objectives.

This is... Definitely a surprising move from Wacko Jacko. An anti video game activist trying to help a video game company take over another video game company. I don't know what's going through his head this time and I don't think I want to know.
The irony of this? He was once against EA for The Sims 2 and yet he wants to help EA now.
