"Following last month's closure of Midway Newcastle, the development team responsible for The Wheelman, it has today been revealed that the remainder of Midway’s UK business has been purchased for approximately £0.50 (GBP). Midway's managing director for Europe, Martin Spiess, has negotiated the bargain deal, which sees him buy both the Midway Games France and UK offices for €1, around £0.86 at the time of writing."

Quite a release week, for PC gamers especially. First we get (finally) Dark Sector, initially planned for simultaneous release, then The Last Remnant, Battleforge..life's pretty good. Although we can't recommend you pick up Dark Sector as it contains that horrid Starforce DRM.
There isn't really much exclusive stuff (not a bad thing, really), with PS3, Xbox 360 and PC owners alike receiving Stormrise, Wanted, and Wheelman, with the latter two seeing Legends of Wrestlemania.

A while ago a rumor spread that Unreal Tournament 3 will be delayed but it was passed off as nothing. Now, Midway has released their press release with a financial update. On it they state that some of there games are delayed until 2008. The games that are being delayed are: Unreal Tournament 3, a next generation installment of the NBA Ballers franchise, TNA iMPACT!, and The Wheelman.
