NoobFeed.com gets a message from CD Projekt RED, the makers of The Witcher, that they'll be making a big announcement in both their newest project and releases for GOG.com before E3. You'll also be able to catch the whole thing through live web stream!
"According to a translation on IncGamers, rumours regarding the game’s possible cancellation originate from Polish site Polygamia, which claims to have been informed by sources that the title won’t see the light of day.
Edge approached CD Projekt Red’s public relations and marketing VP for North America and the UK, who told us that he was unable to “comment on rumours,” adding that “any future plans for the project will be announced via official channels.”

Four new screenshots have been making the rounds for the console version of The Witcher today, and we've got 'em here for you.
This version will be largely enhanced (even over the Enhanced Edition), featuring a new interface, redesigned boss battles, new music, "a smattering of new models", a redesigned character development system, a new action-oriented combat system, enhanced AI and more motion-capture. It releases for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this autumn.
CD Projekt, the fellas behind The Witcher, have been awarded the title of Entrepreneurs of the Year by Ernst & Young. The candidates were judged on their "resourcefulness, innovativeness, good management and the measure of worldwide success achieved by the company thanks to offering products better than those offered by foreign companies."
