TNA iMPACT!: Cross the Line is SouthPeak's first entry from their new exclusive content license with the Total Nonstop Action professional wrestling league. Expect TV tie-ins and console releases as well.
The games should start arriving this week at retailers Wednesday, September 17, and they should have a good truckload this time. Tons of stuff out to coincide with the fall season, and a nice bit of it is very promising. From Dragon Quest IV to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed to Crysis Warhead to WAR to Rock Band 2, gamers won't have trouble finding their blockbuster title of choice, though the trouble may be in finding how many one can afford.

Flippin' sweet week to be a DS owner, and well, if you're reading this (as in, on a PC), it's also a good time to be a gamer. Spore comes out for the DS and PC, sports fans get NHL 2K9 and NHL '09 to choose from on all consoles, and DS owners also get Viva Pinata, the fabulously old school RPG Mazes of Fate (finally!), another interesting looking RPG Lock's Quest, a new color for the system, and more.
Midway, the developer of Unreal Tournament III and developer/publisher of TNA iMPACT! have the results for their Q2 results and it's not looking good. Midway lost $34.8M, which is $0.38 per share and that is double what they lost last year in Q2! Ryan O'Desky, interim CFO, blamed the losses on increased development costs, saying that "capitalized product development costs [were] approximately $73.2 million, an increase of $11.6 million from the previous quarter." Then there's the good. A partial roster for the game has come up and the list includes:Abyss, AJ Styles, Alex Shelley, and Booker T just to name a few.
Some harsh words from the Olympic gold medallist regarding the WWE and the brand he's currently representing, TNA. Angle is out to promote the upcoming TNA iMPACT! game, boasting about how much money was put into the game, as well as how better it will be from WWE's gaming franchise.

A while ago a rumor spread that Unreal Tournament 3 will be delayed but it was passed off as nothing. Now, Midway has released their press release with a financial update. On it they state that some of there games are delayed until 2008. The games that are being delayed are: Unreal Tournament 3, a next generation installment of the NBA Ballers franchise, TNA iMPACT!, and The Wheelman.
