Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.

"6:00 AM – Slice and dice, bub.
They start out with a pretty decent title, one of those cases where the game is better than the movie. X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

10:00 AM – If only Jack Ryan had his wings.
Out of all the clues, this is the only one that has me slightly confused. So I checked where all bargain gamers like myself would go, Cheap Ass Gamer. Most users are saying it is Tom Clancy’s HAWX, so I’m going to agree for now.

Another guess is Bioshock (based on “Jack Ryan..."

"Set in the near future, the story driving H.A.W.X explores the possibility of the uncontrolled proliferation and arming of private military companies and how they may one day challenge the might of the US. As flight leader of an elite squad of pilots code named H.A.W.X, and utilising cutting edge weaponry and advanced computer systems, players will be tasked with flying the most dangerous and death-defying missions. It's time to strap yourself in and feel the G's!"

This week's Zero Punctuation has Yahtzee taking on the recently released Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.

It's all about the DS this week, fellas, ladies. Sure, there's a few notables for the other platforms (Rune Factory: Frontier on the Wii, Resistance: Retribution on PSP), but none of them can top a whopping six high profile titles, and of such a great variety. Three RPGs, one RTS, one shooter, one racer, and GTA: Chinatown Wars? Never been a better time to be a DS owner than now..

PC gamers can get their hands on Empire: Total War and/or 2K Sports' latest game in the baseball field (as can just about everyone else for the latter), PS3 owners see Tom Clancy's HAWX, Xbox 360 welcomes Halo Wars, and Phantasy Star Portable arrives on Sony's handheld.

GCHD has released a recent multiplayer video for Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. that shows off two new maps, Tokyo and L.A. The multiplayer session was captured via shakycam, but still manages to show how exciting team deathmatch will be. Also on display is the game's deep leveling system, which rewards you with new ranks and aircrafts as you level up.

The Trophy list for Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. has been posted by the good people at PS3Trophies.org. Given the similarities of the Playstation 3's trophies and the Xbox 360's achievements (i.e. they're usually the same thing) it's safe to say that these will be identical for the Xbox 360.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. has a confirmed U.S. release date for March 6, 2009.

"Ubisoft has revealed that the demo of combat flight sim Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. will be arriving on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC this week. The release won't be simultaneous, though. Why? Ubisoft likes some of you more than others. There, we said it."

"Almost 10 months ago I reported that H.A.W.X might be coming to the Wii. And long behold the rumor became true just today. In April 9th I made a post about a new issue of Game Informer classifying H.A.W.X as a Wii game too."

Set your calanders as Ubisoft has announced a bunch of release dates for some of their upcoming games. The new Tom Clancy game, HAWX will arrive on march 6th. on all consoles while the PC version arrives a week later in stores.

Rogue trooper is set for a Feb. 27th release for the Wii and World Conflict Complete is set for a March 13th release on the PC

With two known Combat Flight Sims heading our way in the early part of 2009, it is very welcoming to find out that Madcatz acquisition of Saitek in 2007 has proven very successful, and will bear fruit alongside these two great Flight Sims.

They have moved their Cyborg X range across and come up with a whole new version called the Saitek Aviator Flight Stick which will be released in time for the release of Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X and also IL-2 Strumovik: Birds Of Prey being developed by PC de...

"I'll be dead honest with you all, the trailer is underwhelming and I think that could be an understatement. Then again, uncompressed, this trailer was about 400mb, so I guess you could see how a thirty-five second trailer could be considered underwhelming."

We've all been wondering what games will contain Trophies, ever since they launched back a couple of months ago, and whilst only a few titles have been patched with trophies so far, how exactly does the future of Trophies and the Playstation 3 look? Well, ps3trophies.org decided to go to Leipzig to ask that question and they've got back a list of games that will include trophy support.

"Ubisoft has told Eurogamer that you will be able to use voice commands to order your squad-mates around in Tom Clancy's HAWX.

Demonstrator Andrei Costin spilled the beans at the recent UbiDays event in Paris, but avoided elaborating on exactly how it will all work; we expect it will be a blend of EndWar and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

HAWX will also have seamless co-op for you and one other player. Costin promised to talk about multiplayer in much more depth leading up to the game'..."

"For years, Namco Bandai has owned the console skies with its Ace Combat series. Finally, a worthy challenger has appeared and put Ace combat in its sites. Ubisoft's latest Tom Clancy title, HAWX (High-Altitude Warfare Experimental Squadron) is a welcome blending of simulation and arcade fun. With a whopping 50 licensed planes and the use of real satellite data, HAWX certainly brings with it the authenticity we've come to expect from a Tom Clancy game.

Coming this September to PC, PS3 and X..."

Set in the wolrd-renowed Tom Clancy's video game universe, HAWX (High Altitude Warefare... and the X must also stand for something) was announced just less than a day ago. Whilst you've most likely seen the video by now... get ready for some screens...

Ubisoft has just recently announced a flight-combat title, "HAWX". Yes, "HAWX". Someone call the spelling/grammar police! HAWX is a game that lets play control over 50 planes in a war in the sky. The game is set in 2012. The game includes the typical political storyline where private military companies become increasingly more important in the fight for "freedom".

The game supports up to 4 player co-op (with drop in/drop out!) throughout the entire game and includes a Vs. mode for u...
