"Being new to the culture of gaming and wanting to find a female niche or group - I was very excited when I heard about the Frag Dolls. One of my bosses gave me the heads up and said she had heard of them and they’re supposed to be all about promoting the concept of females in the game industry and gaming as a whole. So once I got a little down time I hit the trusty Google and found their site immediately. I wasn’t too enthused by the row of images below the first search result though (Google..."

"The problem comes when you go back and look at your list of achievements and see that there are some that are worth 30, 50, 100 or 150 points. Those are the ones you want. You probably also make the assumption if you dont look at the list that some tasks would be worth a lot. For example, you would think, that completing 50 horde waves would be worth 100 points or at least 50. Its not easy to do, and you need to have four or five players that work together and stick through all the waves. ..."

"One of the most disappointing releases of the year has to have been Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Fans has rightfully blasted Ubisoft for releasing a game that was nothing more than an expansion of the original title. It it were half the price the fans may have accepted it, but with very few new gameplay innovations and ported maps from the original Rainbow Six, most gamers just felt ripped off. Sales have reflected this, turning the much loved franchise into a turkey."
"Calypso Casino: The fan favorite from Rainbow Six Vegas is back by popular demand. All Rainbow Six Vegas 2 game modes are supported, including co-op terrorist hunt.
Murdertown Dark: Experience this map's intense, close-quarter action underneath the cover of darkness.
CQB Training Dark: This map is set at nighttime, so expect more tactical assaults as players must use their night vision to spot enemies.
New Ranks. Unlock new ranks beyond the rank of Elite. XP players have already ..."
The NPD Group recently released their tracked sales numbers for April 2008, for the four week tracking period that ends on May 3rd, 2008. Many thanks to sonycowboy at NeoGAF and the NPD Group for the numbers.
April saw the release of two major games: Grand Theft Auto IV, which shattered industry records, and Mario Kart Wii, the latest installment in Nintendo's Mario Kart franchise. You would think that there would be strong sales all around for the three current generation consoles, but ...
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will be a getting a "all" console patch update sometime soon which will help counter such bug problems they have been encountering like the Rank Reset Glitch which will allow uses to use their Xbox guide without risk of losing their rank and also with the Civilians & Hostages on Tactical Map, as you will now no longer be displayed as terrorists. They are also however using this chance to try and make such improvements to the game like Weapon Switch which will allow you to ...
"Starting this month's Gamasutra-exclusive NPD analysis, Jesse Divnich examines whether the U.S. market can sustain multiple console FPSes launching in the same month, examining surprising data on Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Army of Two, and updating on the PS3/Xbox 360 hardware battle.
For individual software units, last month we theorized that the next-generation systems have matured enough that it might be possible for 2 AAA shooters to be released in one month on the PS3/Xbox 360, with li..."

In regards to hardware sales, the Wii sales are astounding, taking into account that there was only one blockbuster release in March, that being Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Looking at the February NPD, the DS and the Wii both shot up from the previous month. The other systems kept relatively ...
"Rainbow Six Vegas was an incredible experience for gamers all around the world, visuals, gameplay, online was all in the package and it delivered. Now Ubisoft is back with a sequel which got every gamer wondering how it will stand since this time round it will have other games alike to compare to and how it will deliver from the first game, how much of a change..."
This is definitely a game to be wary of. Despite the possible bugs and problems the game is bound to have given its (extremely) short time in development, Ubisoft is still proud to announce that it's shipped two million units initially.
...Either Ubisoft's development team is that great or they're just out to make a quick buck. It's your money, gamers; spend it wisely.
IGN has put up their review for Rainbow Six Vegas 2. It has an over all good score, but one of their complaints is that it doesn't differ much from the first game. The game will be released this week.
Overall Score: 8.4:
