The latest week of Japanese sales are in, with a bunch of new releases lining the charts, headlined by the latest remake from Square Enix: Dragon Quest V DS.

The top seller this week is the aforementioned Dragon Quest V for the DS, selling a whopping 644k units. With the Tales of Symphonia sequel being released recently in Japan, the IGN Wii team take the game out for a test to see if it delivers. They seem to be pleasantly surprised with all the changes made by Namco, from capturing monsters to the updated FR:EE-LMBS battle system. From their initial hands-on impressions, the game seems to live up to the original.

IGN recently has gotten new information from Namco's Editor's Day Event, bringing back information on the upcoming Wii sequel: Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. The game is a sequel to the popular and one of the better RPGs released on the GameCube.
