There's no doubt Uncharted 2 has some of the most engaging and realistic characters in any game, but it isn't only gamers and reviewers that have praised the game's characters. Developers loved them too.
At this year's GDC, Final Fantasy XIII director Motomu Toriyama noted that he was impressed with the interaction between Uncharted 2's characters and would like future Final Fantasy titles to have similar character interactions.

Yesterday images leaked over the internet of the new skin pack for Uncharted 2. Today, Naughty Dog confirmed this on the Playstation Blog and it will be released on Jan. 28th. The skin pack lets you play as Nathane Hale or a Chimera from Resistance2, A Helghast or Sev from Killzone 2 and as Evil or Good Cole and Zeke from inFamous. The pack will be priced at $4.99.

Uncharted 2 has a very nice online mode that features a variety of games. But Naughty Dog wants you to keep coming back by adding new mutliplayer modes. So instead of them deciding what would be the best, they let the players decide. You have a choice to vote between 5 new game modes. After deciding, you can cast your votes here. There is no doubt that Uncharted 2 has amazing graphics, and developers Naughty Dog agree, saying in a recent interview that they are proud of what they have managed to do with the game's graphics and that "no animator could animate enough animations to produce the same look that we've been able to do by mixing and matching, by layering animations on top of each other, by blending between animations even of different layers"...
"So now that Uncharted 2 is out and is doing quite well, does Naughty Dog intend to support it with future downloadable content? Hennig says “absolutely.”

Naughty Dog announced that there will be a very limited amounts of the Fortune Edition of Uncharted 2. And by limited, they mean only two hundred copies. So when you have something that rare, its bound to be very pricey. One copy of the Fortune Edition is selling for a whopping 3,050 dollars on eBay. I guess the seller can use that extra $50 to buy the game now.
"In a video interview found in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Pal England, Lead Programmer at Naughty Dog, talked about the graphics of Uncharted 2. The main characters typically have eighty thousand polygons in them. Even more impressive, just using the graphics card, Naughty Dog was able to pump out two million triangles in every frame"
Uncharted 1 took quite a while to make. We don't know the exact amount of time it took to develop, but we can assume it was pretty long as they had to develop the Naughty Dog Engine 2. Uncharted 2 is coming out a full two years after the first game, but the game was actually done in a little over a year and half. Naughty Dog are some hard workers, and the final product paid off.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has already started a massive ad campaign for the upcoming PS3 exclusive title, Uncharted 2, despite it being almost 3 weeks from release. This is the earliest SCEE has ever advertised a gaming, suggesting that the game will be having a massive launch.

Naughty Dog haven't worked on an online game since Jak X. Which was good, but nothing like what they are trying to create with Uncharted. People were shocked when the multiplayer was announced a few months ago.
"How could a game like Uncharted have multiplayer?"
That question came into most of our minds. But surprisingly, if you played the beta, the online was brilliant, even Naughty Dog were surprised by it.
Uncharted 2 has officially been reviewed by the PlayStation magazine PSM3! Now you could have guessed but Uncharted 2 broke the magazine's rating system. Attached is a scan of the final review score of the game that PSM3 awarded the game. To summarise the review, this is what was written about the game:

And one thing about this special edition is that you have to win it, so no you going to the store and hoping to see on the shelf. Naughty Dog has let loose some incredible new information on their PS3 blockbuster, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The action-packed sequel will do away with a bane of online enabled games, patches. And despite this, they'll still be able to do awesome things to change aspects of the multiplayer mode.

Rumors have been floating around that Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake Fortune will be made into a movie, possibly in conjunction with Columbia Pictures. This has just been confirmed via Playstation.Blog by the co-president of Naughty Dog, and what's more has details on the production cast. Considering the film's cinematic nature and movie-easy plot this could turn into a real success if done right.

We learned three days ago that throughout E3, the PlayStation Store would be constantly updated. Sony has fulfilled that promise, adding the Uncharted 2 E3 trailer, Final Fantasy VII for the PS1, and tons of other things.

It seems that the online games retailer Shopto is now selling Infamous with he Uncharted 2 Beta code, plus it's being sold at a mere £32.95. So if your looking for a good retailer to get the game from look no further. Well for the United Kingdom at least.
I normally pre-order my games from this site and get them two days earlier from release. There is also a limited edition of Infamous on that site, feel free to check that out while you're there also.
Anyone in the United Kingdom hoping Shopto would receive a beta code with their version think again. I just got a reply from the Shopto support team and they have confirmed to me that their version of Infamous does not have the beta code included with it. Check the image below for proof.
The only confirmed retailer to have the code in the United Kingdom is Play.com.
Thus far it was simply a rumour, but today it has been confirmed. The 'big' news that was said to have been releasing today has been released on the US Playstation Blog, and a Multiplayer Mode has been confirmed for the game.

The first Uncharted cost 20 million USD. That money was also used to create and engine for the ps3. Now that Naughty Dog also has their engine, you would think the next game would cost less, right? Some interesting information that came from the recent scan that hit the internet. If you remember Uncharted: Drakes Fortune was said to use only 30% of the PS3's power. Well one would expect to double that in the sequal. But Naughty Dog has seemed to go a little more then triple that usage. Saying that they are currently using 100% of its power. There were some disbelief about the Uncharted 2 trailer being CGI. Well knowing the amazing graphics of the first game, many knew that this wasn't CGI, and Naughty Dog has proven in it. They said the trailer was running in real time on their engine.
