Announced in this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu is a new Action RPG for the Wii--Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga, which is being published by Marvelous Entertainment. This series first got its start on the PlayStation Portable, where the first two games were released. This third game now shifts to the Wii, bringing with it its multiple character races and job classes. The game will also feature multiplayer over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Seeing as though truly original videogames are somewhat of a rarity on the PlayStation Portable, GamerSquad recently turned its all-seeing eye to the European arrival of Rising Star and K2's Valhalla Knights. With what promises to be an epic handheld RPG we duly probed the game's producer for related insight.
"Valhalla Knights is a game set in a small town beset by a curse. The castle of Paladi has been put under an evil spell, causing it to fill to the brim with all sorts of nasty monsters. So what's a young hero to do? Clearly, there's nothing for it but to clear the place out and save the town.
