Sega has offered MCVUK with release dates for some up and coming titles, offering from Sonic Rush Adventure for the DS, Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars for the Playstation Portable, Virtua Fighter 5 for the Xbox 360 and Universe at War: Earth Assault for the PC. They have also hinted that these release dates are only for European release date.

Beat 'em ups are always good fun. But then, as a gaming genre, they're not exactly suited to console or PC formats in the control department, which is why GamerSquad is delighted by the appearance of Hori's Virtua Fighter 5 Arcade Stick for the Xbox 360 - a side entrance to the brawler's spiritual home. Xbox 360 Rally has claimed to have got there hands on what is supposed to be the up and coming titles Sega will be offering at the Tokyo Game Show. These titles range from Beijing 2008, Crazy Taxi, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Medieval II, Phantasy Star Universe, Shenmue 3, Sonic Rush Adventure and many more over all main console including Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Ds, Playstation Portable and Xbox 360.

Sega's hotly anticipated Xbox 360 port of fast-paced arcade fighter Virtua Fighter 5 will be hitting US shores October 30. The Xbox 360 version boasts many improvements upon its PlayStation 3 and arcade brethren, the most notable of which being the addition of online play.

A European retail date has yet to be set. There are currently no plans for this version to be released in Asia.

Confirmed by Sega this afternoon, this will come as a huge surprise to VF fans, who've decreed that the game's split-second timing would make unsuitable for the lag-ridden world of online gaming.

And this will come as an equal disappointment to owners of the PS3 version, which lacks online game play completely. We asked Sega if the PS3 version may receive and online-enabling update, to which it replied "n..."

"While Virtua Fighter 5 is a port of the PS3 version, refinements have been made to pretty things up. The aliasing issues, which were quite noticeable in the PS3 version, are gone from the 360 build."
