"Donkey Kong Country. Killer’s Instinct. Conker’s Bad Fur Day. Banjo-Kazooie. These are some of the games that spring to mind when someone mentions Rare, the British developer whose name used to be—back in the days of Super Nintendo and the N64—more or less synonymous with superb quality."

"I would suggest that, in fact there appears to be a total lack of strategy behind Microsoft’s pricing arrangement for the Games on Demand service, though it would be foolish to do so. You and I are both fully aware that this is just the first piece of a new digital distribution puzzle for the console manufacturer, and one that’s very likely to receive a lot of attention from both the media and consumers. It’s the fact that Microsoft have decided to do as Electronic Theatre initially suggested..."

"It's safe to say August 12th 2009 will go down in the Avatar history books (albeit teeny tiny history books), but it will also be a landmark day for gamers with the introduction of a brand new way to access and play your Xbox 360 games: Games on Demand. Launching worldwide with a library of great titles"

"Sumthing Else Music Works, Inc., through its licensing relationship with Microsoft Game Studios, proudly presents the Viva Piñata Original Soundtrack featuring the original music score from the critically acclaimed Viva Piñata videogame series developed by Rare Ltd."

"Perhaps Brodie Bruce put it best when he said “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned for Sega”. Indeed, there is a social stigma that goes along with being a gamer that seems to be at its worst when dealing with the fairer sex. It’s clear that there are female gamers out there, but unfortunately the majority of them just don’t have a spot in their life for a 360. When dating, the videogame topic is one that’s often avoided until absolutely necessary. Girls often turn up their noses at the th..."

On one of Microsoft's press sites, an upcoming Viva Pinata title was revealed as "Trouble in Paradise". Along with the name and confirmation of a new game in the franchise, we also have seven screens. It looks like we'll have different climates to raise our Pinata in, along with possible co-op?

"At Microsoft's E3 conference, the company confirmed that its light hit (and man, it should have done much, much better -- get on it, people!) Viva Pinata will finally be brought to the PC.

No new details about the PC version were announced, and it was not announced whether the Xbox 360 spin-off Viva Pinata: Party Animals will ever be seen on PC. The Xbox 360 game was a highly-rated kids game supported by the cartoon series of the same name, offering sim gameplay featuring cute Pinata anima..."
