Gamerscom 2011 just got a lot more interesting. Other than its regular tournaments, game developer Valve will be showing off its newest multiplayer strategy game, Dota 2.
And how will they be doing it? With a million dollar, 16 team tournament streamed in 4 languages.
"Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment said, "We're looking forward to providing another great show filled with entertainment, competition, and the latest information about Blizzard Entertainment games."
"The owner of the restaurant said he created the diner in the hope that people who share his enthusiasm for The World of Warcraft would find a comfortable gathering place.
In addition to the interior decoration, game features dominate the menu selection. Diners choose from dishes named after denizens of the virtual world."
Ma Jae-Yoon "sAviOr" defeated fellow Korean pro-gamer Lee Yun-Yeol "NaDa" in two sets to win BlizzCon's pro Starcraft tournament with a nice $25,000 prize.
On the Warcraft side, Park Jun "Lyn" defeated Spanish pro Pedro Duran "Lucifron" twice to come out of the lower bracket and claim the first place finish.
