Available from today, the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Ultimate Collection features every previous title and expansion in the critically acclaimed Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War series."

Franchise and many more. There are numerous packs and publisher catalogues on offer throughout the sale, as well as many individual games on sale. Only a few days left of this big sale.

"The publisher announced they "signed a commitment letter for a $35 million senior secured credit facility with Bank of America," with CFO Paul Pucino going on to explain they're "pursuing this credit facility as a prudent backup to our $141 million cash and short-term investment balance at March 31, 2009.""

"Much has changed since the days of just sending waves upon waves of squads to their noble deaths in the vain hope they’ll break the defensive lines of your enemies base. Relic take a page from one of their other hot RTS creations – Company of Heroes – with Dawn of War II playing huge emphasis on the squads themselves, with each feeling critical to success. To this end maps are littered with cover spots everywhere bringing the intensity of battles to new highs as you literally throw everything..."

Spring and love and all that garbage are in the air, and with that kicks off a solid batch of games this week. The obvious blockbuster is Street Fighter IV, the fighting game for pretty much everyone, really, then the fabulous RTS Dawn of War II (the RTS even for people who don't play RTS), and two titles from equally reputable RPG series': Dragon Quest V and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon.

Bon semaine!

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II isn't even out yet, and developer Relic has detailed a patch for the game, due out within a few days of release -- they certainly weren't kidding when they said they found a way to patch the game quickly. Share the secret with the other developers, please!

The update is largely thanks to everyone who tried out the beta - props to you!

On top of a load of bug fixes, two new multiplayer maps will be added -- one 1v1 and one 3v3.

"You may have played games such as The Darkness, Hitman: Contracts, BioShock or Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II. I bet you didn’t know that Plastic Wax was one of the companies responsible for the CG work that was put into those games. Pretty spiffy work, eh?"

"But if you lose it you don’t have to go back and do it again, there’s no more need to replay a mission over and over again. You will keep all the experience and the items that you found in the mission which is cool."

"As a huge fan of the RTS genre I try to play every major RTS that my grubby hands can get on. One game that has continued to elude my grasp is DoW. The reason simply is because of the ridiculous initial investment required to play the "full game." Call it whatever you want: episodic content, expansion packs, semi-sequels... this tactic of selling bite sized morsels of gameplay is milking at its finest. And why not milk? You combine a vast gameworld with a rabid fanbase and get gallons of ..."

"Until now, information on Dawn of War II has been limited for the most part to three measly screens and details on Warhammer 40K Online has been sparse.

Luckily, our friends down the hall at PC Gamer are getting ready to unleash a bombshell of details on everything Warhammer-related in their upcoming June issue and we can’t wait to read it."
