The Entertainment Software Rating Board has released their rating summary for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, detailing the game’s blood, gore and intense violence.

THQ today confirmed that Warhammer 40000 will indeed have co-op play. However, the feature will not be available at launch. Multiplayer gamers will have to wait 30 days until a patch arrives to play the game cooperatively.

"Who ever thought you could take a strategy board game and turn it into a third person shooter? Well Relic Games did and we got Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, a high adrenaline first person shooter kind of similar to gears of war but instead of fighting mutant ground men, you fight orcs."

For anyone who has somewhat an interest in Space Marines it's a no brainer but if your half-hearted about the game this preview should push you into picking it up. With big guns, multiplayer, story mode with a level system containing upgrades and perks. Keep in mind your only sent in to fight because blowing up the world isn't an option with a pistol and an over sized knife.

With Warhammer 40000: Space Marine still two months off a prologue story in Warhammer 40000: Kill Team. With a look from XBLA at the game they note some of the technical difficulties in the game can be a nuisance but aside from this the game is enjoyable and as it lays down some of the events for what's to come in Space Marine it might be worth a look into for players.
