IGN members Matt Casamassina, Mark Bozon and Lucas Thomas have compiled a list of the twenty Nintendo Wii games that every Wii gamer should own.
It's well structured listing the name, publisher, develop, whether it's Wii exclusive, an overview, a profile picture and a video.
The first game on the list is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and the last is Excite Truck.
Most of the list is a listing of the most popular games around, however, some are quite surprising.
"Across the pond, consumers prefer racing and soccer games to blockbuster action, adventure and first-person shooter games that are the staple of the U.S. diet. Indeed, Europeans view such games as "evil," says Cevat Yerli, chief executive of Crytek, a German game developer that specializes in first-person shooters."
Remember this? Oops, they've done it again! After being at the top for some time, Sonic and Mario have once again reclaimed the spot.
Here's the rest of the top chart :

- PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2008

"Amongst a number of mistakes and oversights that Nintendo only has to blame on itself, one of the main reasons that its consoles languished in last place behind its competitors in the past two generations was a lack of continued, comprehensive support from third party developers. However, with the arrival of the Nintendo Wii (despite a reserved first year from many quarters), things are looking very much on the up. Whether core or casual gaming is your bag, what we know of upcoming third part..."

Konami is currently holding a tournament for Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 with a top prize of £50'000. Apparently the player used screens from a previous unofficial map to convince the admins that he had won a real match in the tournament, a match that never actually happened.
FIFA or PES - the eternal footballing question. PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 - the current hardware question. Hmm, how about PES and Wii - an undeniably potent combination oozing sporting possibility and innovative value? Konami might be on the right track with PES 2008 for Wii.
Honestly, there's no other way to put it. This tracking week is still well into the holiday season in Japan, and if it were somehow possible, DS Lite and Wii numbers increased. 41 out of the Top 50 are on a Nintendo system, with no 360 showing, and Sony representing the other nine. The PSP continues the have same problem that it had last week. But still, the Nintendo numbers, frankly, are completely and utterly absurd.
At the top of the rankings is our newest DS million-seller, Mario P...
"As part of a seasonal anti drink-driving campaign, the Scottish Government is this week allocating some £10,000 GBP to the integration of advisory public information adverts onto videogame billboards found in the likes of Project Gotham Racing 4, Need for Speed: Carbon, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008."
"According to Konami, Pro Evolution 2008 is scheduled to arrive on the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable in the New Year and will see both iterations crammed to the rafters with "all the realism and intuitive controls associated with the series.""
EA have announced that FIFA 08 is the first 2007 title to top one million in sales for the UK. The reason they have said that the title has done so well is for one, the new games engine, in game licenses and of course the FA Cup being added. Such additional help that FIFA have had to reach this target also is to Konami who have had multiple problems with there title including port problems that effect the game play.
"Konami Spokesperson:
"We hope to have the patch released within two weeks at the latest, and have set a deadline of Monday 19th November to get this to the public, as we are aware there are a lot of gamers out there that are avoiding a massive part of the game because of the online issues.""
Finally one of the first Pro Evolution 2008 reviews is here and there isn't very much to expect as I don't remember when the last time a Pro Evo game got a low score and this version isn't any different. The review talks about everything really, although there isn't many new features as we could have expected from Konami, but for Konami to introduce new features to such games it needs to leave last generation consoles behind and move on to next generation. Anyway Pro Evolution 2008 scored a h...
Two highly successful Football Franchises, creating two highly sucessful Football Games. Now the problem comes down to "which is best". Well we all want to know (if we don't already) whether or not we should buy PES 08 or FIFA 08. Well to make things easier for us, the kind folks at Sony UK have given us the arguments we all have inside in the hopes to help us decide...
Behold a special edition Pro Evolution 2008 Playstation 3. This was seen a french site called This Is My Game. This is still nothing but a rumour, so is it legit or photoshopped? You decide!

Lucas Neill has been chosen because he has established himself as one of the best defenders in the world and as he is Australian already, he would become an ideal cover boy for the Australian market. Cristiano Ronaldo has been chosen as he is one of the best young midfielders in the world who has already established himself in the National...

His reputation spans the globe, making Michael the perfect compliment to Cristiano Ronaldos status on the world stage, and creating an enviable pairing for the new game.

Konami revealed that it will use the Games Convention in Leipzig to give football fans and games players across Europe the first chance to try out the PS3 version of PES 2008 at 9:00am on August 23rd. This will give them a chance to reveal there new Teamvision set up which offers a unique system of artificial intelligence that adapts according to an individuals style of play to create the balanced and strategic play of a high stakes match.
"Unsurprisingly, Ronaldo claimed to be delighted with the Konami deal. "For me there is no other game that can capture the grace and skill of football like PES 2008," he said. "Every element of the game is lavished with incredible detail, and with its close control and fast pace it is the most complete simulation of real football out there.""
