"For what works out to be a $10 game, "FlingSmash" is pretty amazing. It's a little short, you're arm is bound to get tired from all the swinging, and two-player is more of a challenge than it should be, but, compared to some of the other pack-in software and hardware that Nintendo has released, this comes out towards the top. The game has it's ups and downs, but if you're planning on picking up an additional Wii remote, spending the extra few dollars on this is a much better investment than "..."

"While Wii may be selling faster than tickets to an all boy choir being sold at a Catholic parish, the games have received very little fanfare on the review front. Outside of the occasional mini-game compilation and first-party titles, Wii has struggled greatly in North America to establish any sort of strong sales figures for third-party games that measure up to the console's install base. Hardcore and casual third-party exclusive titles for the Wii fall very flat in comparison to the PLAYSTA..."

"So, what of the Wii for the future? At Nometet.com we hope that game developers will wise up to what’s good about the Wii, and make a game where you can wave your Wiimote about and make your own moves, where you can use the balance board to shift the centre of gravity of your character, leading to a sweet game not unlike Mirror’s Edge only a lot more advanced. We predict said game will arrive at the same time as the nuclear apolocalypse. Or when people stop worrying about Sarah Palin. The apo..."

"Fanboys have been plaguing the Internet for quite some time with their silly propaganda, heinous slander, & a laggard intellect that leaves the rest of us sane humans flabbergasted at the fact that these are the type of people we not only have to deal with on forums or blogs, but also in person typically at retailers where I purchase my games from. I just don't understand the logic behind being a fanboy, I mean the way I see it it's a lose lose situation. These companies do not compensate you..."

"So here's the thing, Wii Fit has mass-market appeal, and Wii Sports comes packed in with the Wii, so it's understandable for them to outsell AAA titles from the other consoles. Wii Play, however, isn't even a GOOD GAME. No one will tell you that it is. Yet the fact that it comes with a Wiimote for only $10 more has encouraged nearly 20 MILLION PEOPLE to drop down their precious cash for the thing. More people own this game than Halo 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Gears of War COMBINED.

Indeed, Europeans view such games as "evil," says Cevat Yerli, chief executive of Crytek, a German game developer that specializes in first-person shooters."

Nintendo is arranging some form of Zapper demo using a Zelda mini-game called Zelda Crossbow Training. Could this be the Zelda that was said to be in the works, and is this one game or is it going to be a mini-game collection? Believed to use the Twilight Princess engine, the demo was shown off to GameStop managers in Las Vegas today.

"Nintendo argues that some people hooked by the Wii’s ultra-simple tennis and bowling games will lose their sense of intimidation about video games and gravitate toward games like “Super Paper Mario.'’ That’s ultra-wishful thinking. It’s never going to happen in any significant numbers.

What may happen, to concede a different point to Nintendo, is that
some lapsed gamers may pick up where they left off years ago, attracted by the originality of the Wii’s controls. They indeed might be “..."
