World in Conflict owners must be pretty satisfied with their purchase, as this is the tenth patch released for the game.
v1.010 makes the original version of the game compatible for multiplayer with the upcoming World in Conflict Complete and Soviet Assault (coming this month), adds a variety of bug fixes and balance to the single and multiplayer modes, and removes the SecuROM/disk check DRM from the game (the latter for single player, anyway).

Set your calanders as Ubisoft has announced a bunch of release dates for some of their upcoming games. The new Tom Clancy game, HAWX will arrive on march 6th. on all consoles while the PC version arrives a week later in stores.
Rogue trooper is set for a Feb. 27th release for the Wii and World Conflict Complete is set for a March 13th release on the PC

Activision announced that they will continue publishing Vivendi franchises such as Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Ice Age, Prototype, and another unannounced IP, for their "long term strategy". The problem is that they're NOT going to publish other Vivendi games:

World in Conflict is a real time strategy game that came out on the PC late last year. It recieved quite a few awards for strategy game of the year. It is said to be arriving in stores Fall of this year, with content that the PC version didn't come with. PC owners shouldn't fret though, the content will be released for PC owners of the game to download.
