The changes revealed are not the full extent of changes taking place for professions, but are designed as a teaser preview to generate discussion and fill players in on what's in the works. The new badge system will be very similar to that in Wrath of the Lich King, but with only two types of PvE badges. Points will automatically convert down on a new tier release. Oh, and PvE and PvP points will be convertible.
