The new badge system will be very similar to that in Wrath of the Lich King, but with only two types of PvE badges. Points will automatically convert down on a new tier release. Oh, and PvE and PvP points will be convertible.

A new battleground queuing system, the requisite class changes, and more in preparation for the coming Cataclysm, today Blizzard released major patch 3.3.3 for the venerable MMO World of Warcraft.

Blizzard today announced that their popular match-making service, Battle.net, will be receiving a major face lift sometime in the future, likely corresponding with the Starcraft II release.

Recently, several members of the World of Warcraft development team took time to elaborate on itemization changes coming to the MMO's next expansion, Cataclysm.

World of Warcraft Cataclysm pre-orders have begun on Amazon. The expansion brings a higher level cap, two new playable races, and changes to the world map among many other things.
