The console market is constantly growing and changing ever generations, but with all the evolution over the last 30 years, which console has proved to be the strongest in terms of sales. MyGaming investigate the best selling consoles of all time.

"Microsoft has announced that according to NPD data, its Xbox 360 console outsold the PS3 by more than 2 to 1 in the holiday quarter in the US, helped by 1.4 million units sold in December 2008, a new record for the Xbox 360.
According to Microsoft, third-party game sales for Xbox 360 increased from $298 million in November to $504 million in December. Software highlights for 2008 included Gears of War 2, Call of Duty: World at War, Grand Theft Auto IV, Madden NFL 09, Left 4 Dead and Fable II."
