Mario and Link have been in dozens of Nintendo games. Combined they have sold close to 3 million games. Both have had their ups and downs, but the question remains who is the king of Nintendo?

The title sounds somewhat of a fairy tale story don't you think? Well good, because IGN take a look back at games that most young Fantasy RPG veterans have grown to love. A name that have become beholden to Nintendo ever since it's inception in 1983 on the Famicom Disk System.
