For anyone that's ever wondered why Street Fighter IV's damage system seems so inconsistent, here's a great guide to finding out the rules behind the game's damage and combo system. With a little work in the Practice Mode, you'll be dishing out higher damage combos in no time, as well as taking more risks when your health is low.

"Those of you who managed to pick up Street Fighter IV know just how incredibly well balanced and well made this game is. It has an impressive amount of polish, and the whole experience (except for maybe the final boss) is fun and addictive. But there has still been some mystery over how the damage system works. That is until now."

Game is amazing and fun everyday. If I see one more Ken, I'll kick his ass like the others.

Its hard for Sakura users to beat a shoryuken-Happy Ken. Sakura is the only character I'm good with, and her attacks are weaker then Ken's.

"SHORYUKEN! HADOKEN! *spinning kick*! SHORYUKEN! SHORYUKEN!" God dammit, I hear this EVERY MATCH, its so annoying!

It's not just her attacks that are weaker but she also eats damage like a bitch. She's fun to use against n00bs but other than that, it's tough to use her competitively.

Yea I was only messing with you. I do love the game, but I know what you mean about the players we face. Honestly though, as boring as it is fighting the same style over and over, I get some satisfaction in beating people who just spam the same move over and over. They're actually very easy to read though.
