The latest downloadable content coming for Gears of War 2 is the Dark Corners pack. It is due for release tomorrow, the 28th July, 2009. In this guide from Josh Joynes from All Age Gaming, we are given tips on how to attain all the achievements for this DLC.

First off- as a note, if any of you are still undecided whether or not to purchase the Dark Corners DLC. I say it is VERY worth it. The all fronts collection (which contains 19 maps and the single player expansion) shouldn’t even be hesitated upon for 1600 points.

So, 800 microsoft for the Combustible Map pack, 800 microsoft points for the snowblind map pack...

...or 1600 microsoft for 19 maps (including the ones from Combustible and Snowblind) plus an extra campaign level.

Am I the only one seeing this

Another 400 for the flashback map pack and 7 new Dark Corners maps. It's a good deal for the people that don't already have the map packs.

It's certainly a good deal. I wonder if anyone bought them all individually a day before Dark Corners was released?

It's a great deal. Although many gamers who have brought the previous map packs would have to feel ripped off considering you can get all in game content now for 1600 points. I do think in a way the Dark Corners Pack is over priced, 1200 for 6 new maps and a deleted act that only takes 20mins to run through. Bit steap there MS
