Having problems with Monster Hunter Freedom Unite? You’re not alone—every newbie is having the same headache and its name is Yian Kut-Ku, which is supposed to be the “weakest” wyvern in the game. Mike Got Game has put together a guide to beat the Yian Kut-Ku using a Bowgun.

There are no experience points in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. To gain skill, one must use his or her own skills to determine the outcome of a battle. It’s you—the player—that earns the experience, not the avatar that represents you. This is why Mike Got Game! would focus on delivering more PSP game guides, particularly for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

    I'm sorry but...what?

If you need a guide to slay a Yian Kut-Ku, put the game down.

Even as a newb, I beat that thing easy enough with Shield & Sword + Bombs and as a vet it hasn't a hope in help.

GOD help you if you ever reach the Yian Garuga. That thing will *bleep* you up.

Look, I'm sorry if everyone isn't as good as any of you "hardcore" gamers. No need to get testy with someone who's just trying to be more helpful.

How to beat a monster... any monster in any game ever... with a bowgun.

Shoot, cover, reload, wait for ideal moment, pop out, shoot, cover, reload, wait for ideal moment, pop out and repeat until the enemy is dead.

If that doesn't work for you then go back to playing Tetris on facebook.

He can be hard the first time. But after that you can kill them in 2 mins without damage.

    Just use traps =S

Spiderweb + Ivy = Net, Net + Trap Tool = Pitfall Trap

Genoprey Fang + Trap Tool = Some shock trap that I forget the name of :S

When they're trapped, use bombs. Eh presto. Simple.

You don't even need to use traps.

      You don't even need armour.

Traps 1/2 the time needed though, literally.
