In our latest budget gaming PC build, we look at how to assemble an upgrade PC for less than $500. If you need an Operating System, it costs around an extra ~$90.

Components have become increasingly affordable as the years drone on - this custom PC build is a testament to that; for a mere $458, we've packed in everything you'll need to replace that sluggish PC hiding under your desk. Having trouble rationalizing an upgrade? Here's a way to justify it: open your case -- is it dirty? Buy a new one. Is it clean? You must like clean things. New things are clean. Buy a new one.

That about covers it.

Always love reading these. One of these days, I will probably make an attempt to make one of these PCs.

I plan to just build my own someday. I need a very large tower, and I may put in one large hardrive, or multiple ones and use a program to where they are synced with eachother as if they were one. I want to do it for less than 700 bucks.
