Next year is an exciting year for gaming on the whole. Consoles will be getting games such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Metal Gear Solid 4 but PC gamers will not left be in the dark. Games such as Spore and Alan Wake are but a small offering on what will be available (hopefully) next year.

With this year's gaming harvest already played and beaten and filed away into memory like so many saves, it is time now to look on.

Past the bulbous shores of 2007, far off in the distant recesses of release schedules, lies the gone-golden bounty of untapped potential. And while many may slip their surly bonds and give flight to the year 2009, more still will cement their crusted plastic into delighted hands. Here we mark the prophecy of the PC legacy, a concrete, yet tumultuous hour of reckoning for this still-great platform.

The only game that's a PC exclusive that I'm looking forward to is Spore. The rest I'm interested in (Fallout 3, Mercenaries 2, and Huxley) are on the 360, so I'll take the platform I know will play the game, and look great doing so. My PC ftl.

I haven't heard any big updates on Huxley in a LONG time.... It looked really cool when I first saw it. I hope it comes out soon.
