In the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, magazine publisher and sales tracker Enterbrain has posted what is their sales numbers for the second week in September. It was already reported that Pokémon Platinum had sold 967,675 copies in two days. The Xbox 360, on the strength of a price cut and the release of Infinite Undiscovery, actually has sold more than the Wii for the first time in its lifetime, by only a thousand units.

lol @ Storm and NyffTotal90 thinking the 360 is getting better and better in Japan.
Lets make something clear, the 360 has always had short burst of increase in Japan then falls flat afterwards. This has been the problem with the 360 over there. Sure it may sell good amount at one point, then goes down for several more months and being beaten by the Wii and PS3. This isn't hardly anything surprising or something awesome.
That is pretty surprising, the 360 beating the Wii? I've never seen that before... Even if it is only by 1000 systems.
