In the span of four days, the new model of the PSP, the PSP-3000, sold over 140,000 units in Japan, bringing the week's total for all models to 155,720. Not bad, hey?

The new model of Sony’s handheld, the PSP 3000, is doing just as well. It was released in Japan on October 16th and then four days later sales figures for it are a staggering 141,270 units sold in Japan. It’s also lending momentum to sales for the PSP 1000 and PSP 2000.
