The Game Developers Conference this year will include some pretty nice names. Including developers working on Mass Effect 2, the art designer working on Brutal Legend, and lead designers from Big Huge Games (Catan, Rise of the Nations games, Age of Empires III) will talk on an upcoming RPG.

The Bosslady of the Game Developers Conference has written a post updating us on what we can be expecting from the upcoming convention (March 23rd through the 27th).

Sure, we'll get great speeches from some of the Killzone 2 devs, some Lionhead people talking on Fable II, and something or other about Far Cry 2. The bigger news to come of this...

A designer and project manager working on Mass Effect 2!

    Mass Effect 2! <3

The last few days have given me a newfound appreciation for the first Mass Effect, which I dispelled as garbage at one stage. Those choices you can make leave you devestated sometimes!

    This is good news!

I will go apeshit for any comments made at the conference about Mass Effect 2. I love Mass Effect and always will. At least the novels and game will hold me over until ME2 comes out.

mass effect is one of the best games i have ever played. its so unique and the story is amazing that i hope the sequel can surpass the first. Its going to be hard but if anyone can do it, bioware can.

Didn't like the first tbh, tooo much dialogue crap and walking about, might get this if it shows any change to the first.

Uh, thats the whole point of Mass Effect: dialogue and exploration. If you didn't like it, you won't like Mass Effect 2 either.

I love jumping the bandwagon. Mass Effect is one of the best examples of storytelling in modern gaming, and the rest of the game is no slouch either. Can't wait...

There won't be any elevators in Mass Effect 2 right? I'll enjoy it more without that bull.

At least you didnt get a glitch where the character models failed and Sheppard ended up fingering Ashleys stinkhole. The conversation pieces in some of the elevator rides were fun though.

Hey? What is this glitch...and how can you make it happen.

But yeah Rex was a barrel of laughs in the elevator. The news reports were cool too.

I dunno how to make it happen. But I do remember it occuring after I rushed to the elevator and button mashed the A button. Oh and its WREX NOT REX!

But I forgive you. After all, I killed Wrex om Vimirie given the choice. Blatently going evil and killing a party member was so outa the blue but so god damn fun.

Ahh you mean Kaiden. Yeh you have to make that choice somewhere on the game. I got to choose whether Wrex lived or died ALSO on Vimirie, and being the prick that I am, I couldnt help but giggle as Sheppard pumped a few bullets into him.

    Damn that game rocks....
Yeh and I boned Ashley soon after also.

Well I was playing the good guy on my first run through so I didn't kill him lol.

But in the end I didn't get the achievement ):. I knida rushed into the last few missions not knowing you cant go back after.
