Guess the sales from Tales of Vesperia and Infinite Undiscovery didn't cut it. I bet Star Ocean will pick things up over there, though.

Wow, it just wasn't obvious the NDS and Wii would be dominating that list, the PS3 would be somewere in the top 20 and the 360 would be trailing somewere in the 70s - 100s.

What makes Monster Hunter: Freedom THAT good? Are there THAT many people in public with PSP's? *bleep* I wouldn't mind that here.

Have you ever played Monster Hunter? Amazingly fun games that have hundreds of hours of gameplay easy.

Portable 2nd G sold 800,000 copies in its first week, its no surprise its #1 right now. Monster Hunter 3 on the Wii will probably replace it soon enough though.

Well Japan has much less space than we do so it's a much more mobile society, it's why the PSP and DS dominate so heavily there.

Japan is bigger than the UK.

Maybe but I believe the population is much larger. That's why they all sleep in drawers.

good thing they combined the pogemanz otherwise about 10% of that list would be gone.

I am pretty suprised about the 360 sales being so bad. I guess it's an American product, and the rest are Japanese maybe?

Kinda . . . they just really don't like the 360 that much over there.

Almost like how the media doesn't like anything Sony related over here in the US, and people feel the need to pass off the Wii as a kids toy.

not to mention that the Japanese majority prefers RPGs over FPS games which is the focal of the 360.

Well considering that the PS3's main game is Killzone 2 and MGS was last year, and with all this RPG love Square has been giving MS all this time. But the PS3 still dominates the 360 there, so its not games, its something else.

To me that list makes sense xD
Except for some of the games that I've never heard of.

The second part of your comment is because it is in Japan and they have so many games we will never hear of
