Square Enix has been looking to buy out Eidos for some time now, and it looks as though this will come to fruition thanks to an agreement of terms on the part of both companies announced today.
The deal is expected to be approved by Eidos' shareholders at a meeting planned for late this month.
Following this, trading of Eidos shares will be suspended on April 21st and the cancelling of its share listings is due to occur the following day.
A settlement is hoped to be in place by May 6th.

I think everything will remain the same really.
Square won't be changing anything, or adding there logo anywhere, they'll just be getting money now from the games they can get from their Eidos branch.
: D
Well as long as we dont see Lara Croft popping some Pheonix Downs in the Jungles then Im all happy.
And Male characters stay as males...
And games are released within the decade of announcement...
Only now Lara Croft will be accompanied by huge mother *bleep*ing swords and guns.
