Today Microsoft had announced that owners of the Xbox360 console can now purchase content and Microsoft points using there PayPal account. Along with the announcement, it was stated that all users of the console had to do was to log in and associate their PayPal information onto Xbox Live, and eventually having to give out credit card details. Also, players can link more than one PayPal account to their Gamertag.

Gamers now able to buy Microsoft Points with PayPal through Xbox.com

Microsoft has announced Xbox 360 owners in the United States can now use PayPal to purchase content on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The online payment service can now be used to buy Microsoft Points through Xbox.com, according to Microsoft mascot Major Nelson.

Users simply login and associate their PayPal information to their Xbox Live account, negating the need to provide credit card details. They can even link multiple PayPal accounts to their Xbox Live gamertag.

This service is only available in the US, and can only be used to purchase MS Points through Xbox.com. PayPal is not an acceptable method of payment when purchasing Marketplace content through the Xbox 360 console.
