Selling numbers show that the whole Modern Warfare 2 boycott 'thingie' was nothing but 'hollow' tantrum. Latest Infinity Ward's shooter outsold its predecessor in the first week.

"The PC version of Modern Warfare 2 has actually outsold the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in it's first week", IW's Robert Bowling posted on the company's message boards. "Making it the most successful PC version."

This is just pure gold. If the matchmaking works like the console versions (and from what I've seen, it does), then the parties stay intact and together, which should make some clans happy. Dedicated servers will be missed, no doubt, but hopefully they can implement a system to suit.

It doesnt matter TBH, Clans love having their own servers and shit. Its probably half the reason they have clans. Loling at it though, It was pretty obvious from the start no one was actually going to boycott. Still is a bit shit though, but eh, I'm not getting MW2 anyway.

Well it's not like they can't form a party and do battle, but yeah, having their own setup is more preferred. Eh, not too much a clan person to worry about that.

So much for that. I wouldnt ever buy a fps for the PC, terrible experiences with steam. Live really is it.

It's surreal to actually read someone say that.
