The PS3 sold big for the weekend that ended in 11/29/09. The PlayStation 3 sold more than 440,000. This is a spectacular amount of Ps3's to sell in just one week.

To coincide with the year’s biggest shopping rush, SCEA released some extremely enticing PS3 bundles. These amazing bundles paired a 120GB PS3 up with some of the year’s biggest releases. As expected the bundles sold out almost immediately the morning of Black Friday.

I think its because of the slim's price cut, well, you can also get an Elite 360 for that price. Don't get it.

Well that's good to hear. I still am hoping for Sony to make a comeback for this gen and surpass their competition. I don't know why . . . But I just seem to feel bad for Sony this gen. Maybe because of all the bad press they received at the start, and sometimes still receive that is kinda unwarranted.

This is very good as this is just what Sony wanted. They knew the when the Slim launched there would be a sales spike, what they wanted to show was the sales spike would be consistant. This almost proves that the PS3 is now so well priced almost half a million in a week sold, getting closer to Christmas I can see millions selling.

Good for Sony; the best thing that Xbox fanboys can hope for is Sony coming up to be a strong competitor against the 360. That way the 360 will be forced to show off all that it has as well as add new features.
