It doesn't quite match Nintendo's achievement of reaching the top ten in Japan, but Insomniac, the company behind Ratchet and Clank, and are now in the top ten of the list of "50 Best Small & Medium Sized Companies to Work for in America."
Insomniac Games, the company behind Ratchet & Clank and Resistance: Fall of Man, has been named in the list of the "50 Best Small & Medium Sized Companies to Work for in America."
The rankings are published annually by the Society for Human Resource Management and were recently announced at its 59th annual conference and exposition in Las Vegas. Insomniac is the only company in the history of the small business category to earn a Top 10 ranking for three straight years, and it remains the first and only videogames developer included on the list.

They are an excellent development company. All of their games have been superb, especially recently. Spyro was a great franchise, and as soon as they had let go of it, it fell apart in the hands of the new developer. Ratchet and Clank is even better. I love these guys, they really deserve this. Easily one of the best American developers, period.
