Bayonetta Breaks A Million Units Sold

Hideki Kamiya's Angel May C.. I mean Bayonetta shows sales of over 1,000,000 units sold. With a blockbuster game like this, it would be surprising to hear that Sega isn't already pushing for another one.

With this many units sold, maybe now Sega can afford a platinum ticket to space...

Sega’s latest financial report included sales data for Bayonetta. Platinum Games’ climax action game rung up 1,100,000 million units worldwide on both platforms.

    I am glad to see Platinum Games have finally made a commercially successful game. Ever since they were Clover Studios they have made some great games but not very successful ones (except Viewtiful Joe) so I am glad to see that they're finally getting some recognition.

    Hope it continues to sell well. It's a decent action game with some addicting gameplay. ^^
