I rarely do either.I am easily pleased so I rarely regret buying games.Games like GOW and The Warriors even after reading reviews I took quite a long time tro decide to buy them. The Warriors I didn't buy till probably 6 months after reading reviews on the game.

Why is there a picture of a shirt with the Blue Screen of Death on it included with the article

I'm pretty sure fatal errors have nothing to do with Reviews or Blogs

I always read at least something up on the game (never read spoilers though). This is done normally looking into replay value and any problems I might encounter (certain bugs, glitched/missable achievements etc.).

I usually read reviews and blogs regarding games. That's what helps influence my purchases, especially when I put my hard earned money towards it!

I read up on news and features and stuff but never reviews, they're mostly filled with bs imo. I like reading the opinions of the 'regular' consumers if you will, but never a critic.

I can understand not wanting to hear another person's mostly bs opinion but surely 'regular' consumers are just as bad as reviewers, no?

      From my experience, at least.

There's the odd dumbass but mostly I agree. Of course, then there's the situations where everybody but you has the same opinion, but eh, I tend to agree mostly with forum-goers and the like.

I almost never read reviews when considering buying games. I only read them after I buy the games to fangirl it.

I don't really find this surprising, only the hardcore gamers really do that sort of thing, and their generally a minority.

I consider myself a hardcore game but I don't read reviews very often.

I don't like reading reviews. I usually know if I want to buy a game or not right away. The main thing I look for is "Online only" in which case, I won't buy it.
