The official NPD data for February 2010 is out, and the PlayStation 3 has just passed another significant figure in terms of sales. The flagship console from Sony has now sold over 11 million units in the US according to official NPD data.

    I thought there would be more to be honest. Does Europe have about the same number or what, because how does Sony have 30+ million units sold worldwide...

      Well Japan'd have more, considering that's their strongest region, and the UK probably has more as well. facts be facts; North America is Sony's weakest region compared to the others.

      I think Sony has about 32M total worldwide.

        In other words until E3 says any different the PS3 and 360 are pretty much tied at this point.

          Really looking forward to E3 this year, it's gonna be good to see what Sony and Microsoft are bringing out. Don't really give a damn about Nintendo though. Their past 2 E3's have been terrible.

    Nintendo, in my opinion, just needs to roll over and die already. They are very obsolete to most people, and if they aren't the thing that the Wii is most used for is a fitness console, rather than a game console. Sigh... Nintendo stuff really gets old fast, too...
